Do you make time to relax?

"According to the American Institute of Stress, the leading cause of stress - is the workplace." The good news? Because many of us had to combine our workplace into OUR place ... we're now able to create our own ways of relaxing on-site. (i.e. Who needs "MetroNap Energy Pods" - when you can just nap in your own bed?!)

 Relaxation Rituals are "symbolic repeated actions and/or activities undertaken to promote a sense of calm, balance, and well-being." (e.g. An evening walk, a bubble bath, reading, or journaling.) How to get started?

  1. Pick a ritual - that's appealing, enjoyable, and affordable.
  2. Procure any necessary supplies.
  3. Designate time for the ritual, and commit to it.
  4. Perform the ritual, and avoid distractions.
