Digital Marketing Internship

Seeking creative / innovative "Digital Marketing Intern" to help build our brand, and re-launch our career community. The ideal candidate will have a sincere interest in personal and professional development, and helping others.

This semester-long, virtual internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a resume and portfolio. This is an unpaid, for-credit internship, and we will work with you to ensure all projects and assignments fulfill your school's requirements for academic credit. You will be supervised directly by Whole U.'s founder, Shannon O'Brien, MA, EdM, and will receive mentorship valued at $5,000.

 

What You'll Accomplish:

 

Brand Awareness & Public Relations:

  • Play a key role in developing brand's presence and upholding 5-star reputation
  • Draft and pitch press releases, articles, and announcements to media outlets.
  • Secure podcast interviews and speaking opportunities to expand reach.
  • Propose creative new ways to engage our target market of "purpose-driven job seekers" and "change agents."

Content Creation & Social Media:

  • Develop & manage a content calendar for marketing channels.

  • Lead community engagement on LinkedIn and YouTube.

  • Track and analyze performance of social media and marketing initiatives.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate on a comprehensive marketing and advertising strategy to attract qualified leads to the Whole U. website and offerings.

 

Your Superpowers:

  • Excellent initiative, writing, and communication skills.

  • Strong creative and strategic thinking.

  • Experience with social media management

  • Experience with design software (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Major plus for knowing "Kajabi")

  • Commitment - 3 month minimum (with option to extend).
